Account Settings
Your personal account settings (Profile, Password, Appearance) are reached from the avatar menu and are self-explanatory. Two settings are worth a short note: Two-Factor Authentication has a setup step that can look like a dead end if you're not expecting it, and Notification Preferences control emails sent to you as a dashboard user — not to your push subscribers.
Two-Factor Authentication
Accessing Two-Factor Auth
From the avatar menu, go to Settings → Two-Factor Auth.
The Password Confirmation Step
Before the Two-Factor Auth setup screen opens, you'll be asked to re-enter your account password:
Confirm your password This is a secure area of the application. Please confirm your password before continuing.
This is expected behavior, not an error. It's a standard security gate for sensitive account actions, not specific to 2FA. Enter your password and continue.
The setup flow itself (QR code / authenticator app pairing, recovery codes) was not directly observed while preparing this documentation — only the password-confirmation gate in front of it was confirmed. If the actual setup screen differs from what you'd expect from a standard TOTP flow, this section should be updated once someone completes it.
Notification Preferences
From the avatar menu, go to Settings → Notifications. This page controls which emails you receive as a dashboard user — it has nothing to do with the push notifications your subscribers receive.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Subscriber milestone emails | Master switch for milestone emails (e.g. reaching a subscriber count threshold) |
| Daily subscriber digest email | Master switch for a daily summary email of subscriber activity |
Click Save to apply changes.
Both settings are described in the dashboard as master switches, with the ability to "opt out of individual apps from each app's settings page." That per-app override could not be located anywhere in App Settings, Edit App, or Web Push Settings during this audit. Either it lives somewhere not yet found, or the feature described in this UI copy isn't fully built yet. Until this is resolved, treat the toggles here as your only control — don't rely on being able to opt a specific app out individually.
Next Steps
- Editing an App — where a per-app email opt-out would logically live, if/when located
- API Tokens for programmatic access, also reached via Settings
